Layla Kuhl for EGR School Board
Layla Kuhl for EGR School Board
I am running to stay on the EGR School Board to ensure our district's continued success in educating students so they can contribute to society and lead meaningful lives.
To this goal, I bring my experience as a licensed attorney, social entrepreneur, and director of a financial nonprofit. Further, I am parenting four EGR students across elementary, middle and high school buildings. At every level I've partnered with parents, teachers, counselors, principals, and staff, as a co-laborer and advocate for our district. I became interested the board's work after I organized and chaired the EGR Board of Education’s 2022 Candidate Forum as PTO Council President.
Since my October 2023 appointment to the Board, I’ve prioritized my development as a trustee through attending the NSBA conference, meeting with administrators, and building relationships with EGR teachers and parents. I bring these learnings to the board's work, striving for excellence in governance.
